01Who we are

Michi Studios (“we”, “us”), a Kosal IT Solutions LLP company, is an AI product engineering studio based in Chennai, India. We decide how the personal data described here is used, so we are responsible for it.

02What we collect

We collect only what we need to reply to you and to understand how the site is used.

Your brief. Name, work email, company, what you want to build, and an optional budget range, when you send the contact form.
Campaign details. UTM tags in the link you arrived from (source, medium, campaign), sent with the form so we know which channels work.
Bookings. If you book a call, the calendar provider collects your name, email and chosen time, and shares them with us.
Usage data. Pages viewed and buttons clicked, such as “Book a call”, through our analytics setup. This may include your IP address, browser and device type.
Emails. Anything you choose to send us directly.

03How we use it

To reply to your brief and prepare for a discovery call.
To send a proposal, a quote or project updates you asked for.
To understand which pages and channels help people find us, so we can improve the site.
To keep the site secure and prevent abuse of the contact form.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to train AI models.

04Consent and legal basis

We process your data with your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the contact form or booking a call, and for legitimate purposes such as replying to messages you send us. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), and handle data from visitors in other regions with the same care.

We share data only with service providers who help us run the site and our business, and only as much as they need:

Website hosting and the contact form handler.
Our email provider.
The booking calendar provider.
Analytics tools.

We may also share data if the law requires it.

06How long we keep it

We keep briefs and emails for as long as we are in conversation with you, and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless you become a client, in which case our contract sets the period. Analytics data is kept in aggregate.

07Your rights

You can ask us to:

Tell you what personal data we hold about you.
Correct or update it.
Delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time.
Name someone to exercise these rights for you.

Write to info@michistudios.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can raise a grievance with our grievance officer at the same address, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.

08Cookies and analytics

The site uses a small amount of browser storage and analytics to count visits and clicks. You can block cookies in your browser settings, and the site will keep working.

09Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege permissions on the tools that hold your data. No system is perfectly secure, so if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

10International transfers

Some of our service providers store data outside India. When they do, we use providers that protect it to a standard at least as strong as this policy.

11Children

This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

12Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
